Launching the Palestinian Communications and Informatics Society (PCIS) during ICPET 2020 Conference, with FNF partial support

The new Palestinian Communications and Informatics Society (PCIS) established under the umbrella of Palestine Academy for Science and Technology (PALAST), with support from Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) -Jerusalem, will be launch during the 2020 International Conference on Promising Electronic Technologies (ICPET 2020).

The 2020 International Conference on Promising Electronic Technologies (ICPET 2020), organized by Palestine Technical College Deir El-Balah and Al-Quds University – Jerusalem, will be held 16-17 December 2020, and in cooperation with PCIS as a technical partner at the ICPET 2020.

ICPET 2020 will host researchers and technologists from industry and academia in Palestine and all over the world to present their latest research results in fields where computer, electronic and electrical engineering can be applied. The audience of the conference and the participants will be university professors, graduate students, professional engineers who are interested in learning about trends of technology in research. The conference is concerned with applied electrical, electronic and computer engineering research topics which can be promising technologies for end users. The proceedings will be a reference material and will be published with papers’ contents. The accepted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings that will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore. Papers will be presented orally either by attending the conference or electronically via video conferencing.

PCIS, with sponsoring from Friedrich Naumann Foundation NF-Jerusalem branch, will cover participation fees for eight accepted papers from PCIS members.
