MED-DIALOGUE: 2nd ICT Networking Event, Tunis-Tunisia

MED-Dialogue has successfully organized its Networking Event for 2016, held in Tunis, Tunisia,  by bringing together researchers and developers from the MPC and Europe for subsequent proposals of the Horizon 2020 ICT-related calls.

The event was organized in close cooperation with the FP ICT project MOSAIC, covering also the entire MPC region,. The event was a sounding success in terms of the number of participants and the quality of discussion. In terms of participation, more than 200 participants attended the event from 18 different MPC and European countries.

During the networking sessions, numerous ideas for project proposals for the next call were discussed and presented by researchers from the MPC.

Three researchers from Palestinian Universities were supported and co-funded from Med-Dialogue Budget and participated in the event with other researchers from MPC and Europe to interact and exchange ideas and proposals. Our three researchers were Mr. Mahmoud Hawamdeh from Al Quds Open University, Dr. Haitham Hijazi and Dr. Asma Sbaih from Ahliya University

The main aim of the Networking Events was to bring researchers and developers from the MPC and Europe together in order to create new partnership for subsequent proposals of the Horizon 2020 ICT-related calls. These Networking Events were a follow-up of the Awareness and Training Events that should trigger new and suitable proposal ideas that can form the basis of consortia creation.
