Project Tittle: Fate of nutrient transferred by microalgae

Project Goal: In this project we aim to   investigate the safe transfer of nutrients such as N and P from waste water to crop plants in the form of biofertilizer in order to escape the bad effects of mineral and manure fertilizers.  A part of the work focuses on the investigation of the effects of abiotic stresses such as salinity on germination and early growth stage of barley cultivars growing in Palestine. The ultimate goal is to enhance the productivity of poor soil, mainly the degraded soil such as the quarries and their landfill to participate in the national economy in the form of "Economy based on knowledge".
