The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) is among the world's leading research institutions. Its scientists explore the living world, matter, the Universe, and the functioning of human societies in order to meet the major challenges of today and tomorrow. Internationally recognised for the excellence of its scientific research, the CNRS is a reference in the world of research and development, as well as for the general public.

The CNRS is also a key player in innovation, both in France and worldwide. Finding applications for research results ensures that scientific advances benefit society, which is one of the missions entrusted by the French government to the CNRS. Innovation is founded on the scientific excellence of laboratories engaged in productive interaction with industrial actors. Each year this original model generates inventions, technologies, and start-ups that contribute to the nation’s wealth.

The Al Maqdisi programme is the French-Palestinian Hubert Curien partnership. It is coordinated by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE), the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), and by the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem. It aims at developing and strengthening scientific and academic exchanges between French and Palestinian higher education institutions and research organisations. To this purpose, it supports the mobility of French and Palestinian researchers and seeks to foster new structuring collaborations, closer ties with the private sector, as well as to encourage the participation of young researchers. The programme is open to all Scientific Fields.

Considering the strategic importance of this event, we kindly ask you to give to this Webinar the widest dissemination among all your interested Colleagues, Colleges, Centers, and contacts through your institutional channels.
