Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Palestine Academy of Science and Technology has virtually held the 3rd  episode of Exploring Science Program, with Dr. Maher Maghalseh, on Renewable energy and green buildings, in the middle of a remarkable interaction of students, who are interested in Science, Technology and Innovation.

This episode was moderated by the students Abrar Khater from  Bruqin Girls Secondary School and Faiq AlHaj from Bruqin Boys Secondary School  at the Directorate of Education – Salfit - Ministry of Education.

Dr. Al-Maghalseh discussed Renewable energy and green buildings, types, forms and applications of renewable energies and how to use them. Besides, the future of renewable energy at regional and global levels. Also, he explored more on renewable energy projects, and what are green buildings? The standards for classification of green buildings, and its application and projects. 

 

As a researcher, Dr. Maher Al-Maghalseh  is currently an associate professor in the field of renewable energy engineering at the college of engineering and technology at Palestine Polytechnic University PPU, he received his PhD degree from Northumbria University at Newcastle upon tyne at United Kingdom (UK), 2014. and obtained his master degree in the field of renewable energy from Durham University at UK, 2011. And  got his Bachelor degree (B .Eng) in Electrical Engineering from Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU), 2006.
