The Palestine Academy for Science and Technology held an information session within the Palestinian Quebecer Science Bridge (PQSB) for the winners of the 4th Call for the Palestine Quebec Science Bridge (PQSB ) in the West Bank and Gaza, as part of the mission to enhance the exchange of Palestinian and Quebecer Researchers.
which was held virtually via Zoom, and the meeting was moderated by PALAST , with presentations from former winners Mr. Hisham Qadoumi and Dr. Moayed El-Mobaid.

The aim of the meeting includes informing researchers about the procedures and details of the grant, also, researchers were instructed about the mechanism of filling out visa applications, the financial grant and its procedures, the logistical organization of travel, housing, and living, and how to deal with the host Partner and the supervisor university. It was followed by a discussion by the researchers, besides that the Academy praised the efforts of researchers in networking between Palestinian universities and universities in Canada.

PQSB aims to support short-term scientific missions for Palestinian researchers whose research has already produced notable results in any of the fields of health sciences, natural sciences and engineering, or social sciences and humanities, arts and letters. The main and long term objective of Palestine-Quebec Science Bridge is to foster collaboration between researchers in Quebec and their counterparts in Palestine (especially early-career researchers) through staff/ faculty exchange, and other mobility programs.

These programs will provide an opportunity to integrate Palestinian researchers into FRQ-funded research projects and its network of national and international partners and their research funding programs which will allow them to carry out their scientific research projects in collaboration with researchers in Quebec.
