Abdel Fattah A. Qaraman is currently an assistant professor of at Al-Israa University-Gaza. He earned his Bachelor of chemistry at Bethlehem University in 1994, MSc in Analytical Chemistry from Al Azhar University in 2006, and his Ph.D. in Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry from the Ain Shams University (Egypt), in 2015. In his thesis, he studied the foam concrete and its applications as construction insulator material which was published as a book from Nour publishing. He is currently a lecturer in the faculties of engineering and health professions of the analytical, biochemistry, and engineering chemistry courses. He has held several administrative positions such as vice dean of the health professions college, head of the university requirements department and assistant director of scientific research department. He is currently the director of the laboratories and engineering works department and director of the energy and environment research center. His research interests include reagent encapsulation in the soil gel matrix and its analytical applications, composite fuel and insulation materials. He has published many research articles in internationally reputed journals. Abdel Fattah Qaraman won the scientific research award of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for scientific research in the field of chemistry – 2014.
