A cooperation protocol pertains to the International Palestine Prize for Scientific Research was signed on August 20, 2023, between the International Union of Arab Writers, represented by the Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Abu Al Nasser, chairman of IUArabWriters, with Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence HCIE, represented by HE Eng. Adnan Samara, and HE Minister Dr. Marwan Awartani, President of the Academy of Palestine for Science and Technology. In coordination with the Cultural Advisor in the scientific field for the International Union of Arab Writers in Palestine, Mr. Eyad Al-Souqi. 

The collaboration aims to establish a unified strategy for scientific research in Palestine and the Arab world. It also includes the allocation of a substantial prize to promote international and global scientific research that benefits Palestine. This initiative will be highlighted through an annual conference known as the "International Palestine Prize for Scientific Research," which will honor the winners and showcase scientific research to facilitate knowledge exchange among universities in most participating countries.
