Dr. Hussein Shanak

Dr. Hussein Shanak, holds a PhD in Physics from Saarland University, Germany. He is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Physics at the Palestine Technical University Kadoorie (PTUK) working in the field of thin film nanotechnology, especially transition metal oxides, and polyamide films for industrial applications. His research also focuses on transport in carbon-based materials including graphene and graphite systems and organic semiconductors. Dr Hussein Shanak served in different positions at PTUK: Dean of faculty of Sciences & Arts, Dean of students Affairs and now he is the Dean of graduate studies.
